Generators

  • Supply System
  • Two (2) 220 V, 50 A, 60 Hz single-phase shore connections located on the transom.
  • Additional shore power inlet located in the bow area with option for aft or bow plug in for the second shore power line
  • 220/110 VAC, 60 Hz for accommodations and users spaces main lighting, 24 V, with grounded negative conductor for lighting small power circuits, signaling, emergency lighting and electronic equipment.
  • The electric cables are grouped together in closed self-extinguishing PVC or metal raceways. The cables are made of fire retardant material of a suitable gauge for the maximum permitted current.

Electric Panels & Batteries

  • The yacht’s main switchboard is located in the afterpeak.
  • Subpanel units are distributed in strategic areas of the vessel easily recognizable and accessible.
  • The 24 V DC service lines, coming from the main board, are protected by magneto- thermal breakers and fuses.
  • Gel battery sets for main engine and generator start-up, accommodation and user spaces main lighting, signaling, small power, engine electronics, services and emergency systems.

Lighting System

Fluids and Fluid Systems
Fuel System

  • The three contiguous fuel tanks are built with an aluminum inner case and form the engine room forward bulkhead. They are fitted with all the required vents and connections. 1300 gallon total capacity
  • The tank is fitted with steel vent pipes, electric level detector and visual level indicator. The level is indicated on both wheelhouse control panel and main.
  • Engine and generator fuel filters, duplex type (Racor or equivalent) with water-in- diesel alarm sensor.
  • Pipes in steel, copper or rubber of fireproof, approved type.

Oil

  • Main oil change system

Engine Cooling

  • There are two main seawater intakes, fitted with bronze valve and filter, dedicated to the main engines (one each).
  • The main engine cooling water is partly used for cooling the gas exhaust risers and partly discharged directly overboard.
  • The firefighting electric pump, the air conditioning seawater pump, the watermaker (optional) and the generator cooling system will take suction from dedicated sea intakes.
  • The seawater fire fighting system consists of a 24 V electric pump in engine room, connected to two hoses accessible from the upper deck. The pump is controlled from wheelhouse, flybridge and engine room.
  • Piping in CuNi and stainless steel.

Bilge, Fire & Chain Washing Systems

  • Centralized system with air intakes in each watertight compartment connected to the main manifold in engine room.
  • 24 V electrically-driven pump, maximum flow rate 33 gpm, with control near the pump.
  • Manual emergency pump.
  • 24 V automatic electrically-driven pumps for bilge service located in every watertight compartment.
  • High level detectors in each watertight compartment with alarm in the wheelhouse. A quick-connection bilge suction will be connected to the main manifold.
  • Two (2) bilge suction in engine room connected to the main engine sea intakes. CuNi piping.

Fresh Water

  • The system can be fed either from the structural tank or from the transom shore connection.
  • Water from the structural tank is delivered to the various services by means of a unit consisting of two (2) 24 V electrically-driven pumps, fitted in engine room with electronic pressure control. This unit feeds all of the users.
  • 24 V bypass emergency service electrically-driven pump, maximum flow rate 12 gallons.
  • Boiler in stainless steel, 27 gallon capacity, in engine room.
  • Piping partially built of multi-layer material and partially of rigid stainless steel pipe. Insulated hot water piping.

Sewage & Grey Water

  • Two structural grey water tanks, 106 gallons in total, located amidship, collecting discharges from showers, sinks as well as from dishwasher and fan coil condensation.
  • Electrical level switch controls the electrically-driven pumps for discharging. Pump operation automatic or manual. The pump is controlled from the wheelhouse control panel.
  • The discharges from heads are pressure fed to the amidships black water structural tank (capacity approximately 106 gallons). The tank can be discharged overboard by means of a 24 V automatically or manually operated pump. The pump is controlled both from the wheelhouse and from the main board (emergency operation). It is possible to discharge the tank directly ashore by means of an outlet fitted near the cockpit.
  • All heads can discharge both overboard and into the black water tank. Piping made of stainless steel in engine room, PVC elsewhere.
  • The tank levels are shown on the touch screen, in wheelhouse.

FM200 Kidde Centralized Firefighting System

  • Centralized Kidde Automatic Firefighting System for operating the engine room nozzles, closing the fuel delivery valves to main engines and generators, operating the alarm and closing the fire dampers on the ventilation ducts.
  • Seawater hoses.
  • Portable extinguishers (powder and/or CO2 type) in all areas.
  • Smoke detectors in engine room, afterpeak and all cabins and upper deck areas, connected to the acoustic and visual alarm on the wheelhouse monitor. High temperature detectors in engine room and afterpeak.
