GENERAL OVERVIEW

There are four double staterooms for owners and guests, each with en suite bathroom with shower. The guest layout is very versatile and includes pullman berths for children that can increase the guest capacity to twelve.

There are five double cabins, all with en suites for nine crew.

If speed turns you on, then this Mangusta 165’ will be the seductress you cannot resist. For an open yacht, she has an amazing amount of volume and exceptional headroom. The aft seating area is one vast open space with no dividing walls between the living area and the wheelhouse. Sharp, clean lines emphasize even further the yacht’s impressive volume, evident as soon as you come onboard.

Bleached teak floors, limed oak paneling, hammered marble and accents of stainless steel create a contemporary feel. Colors are a medley of browns that would be right at home in a gelateria as espresso, nougat and caramel. Furnishings include a convivial gathering of sofas and armchairs, a game table and marble bar concealing a large-screen TV. Five skylights and large windows bring in the views. Still, the yacht’s centerpiece may very well be an eye-catching display of large screens and commands located in the wheelhouse, forward on the main deck. The pilot seat has built-in controls to assist in navigation, and guests can enjoy the ride in two comfortable leather-upholstered companion seats. Just behind the seats is a custom-made dining table that seats 12. The dining area is open to the massive main salon.

The lower deck is home to a “hunker-down” lounge to starboard with a cozy sofa area facing a large screen TV—an elegant version of the American “rec” room and a perfect space for children to enjoy movies and games. Also on this level opposite to port is a gym with a treadmill, elliptical trainer and weights with private access aft to the owner’s stateroom. There is a day bathroom to service the TV lounge and gym, just off the hallway.

The full-beam owner’s suite includes a large study forward to starboard, walk-in wardrobes and his-and-hers bathrooms, both with bidets, divided by a shower that can also be used as a steam room.

Guest accommodations include two double cabins with various bed configurations suited for adults or children. The port stateroom has a queen size bed, adequate storage in lockers and drawers with the en suite bathroom with shower forward. The starboard guestroom has twin single beds, storage and an en suite bathroom with shower forward.

The forward VIP stateroom has a King size bed, desk, chair, and sofa and en suite bathroom with shower.

Guests can adjust lights, temperature and sound in their personal spaces through an iPad.

The crew area for nine, forward of the engine room, has a mess/lounge and galley with wrap around seating and a table forward. The five crew cabins include two with double beds. Each crew cabin has a head and shower and good storage. The crew area provides discreet and convenient access to the guest accommodations for cleaning and servicing.

The main galley is outboard of the crew area to port.

The yacht’s impressive size leaves plenty of room for entertaining outdoors.

The main aft deck houses a large dining table, and a retractable flat screen TV for an outdoor movie experience. Perfectly there is a second salon or outside seating area with TV forward, shaded if necessary, and large sun pads further forward.

A special diving board affixed to the bulwark, satisfies youthful thrill seekers after the yacht has dropped anchor. A wet bar is forward to port on the aft deck. The transom gates are aft, port and starboard, giving access to the large swim platform and powered transom door. The garage, housing the 21’ Castoldi diesel jet tender, accessible through a hydraulically up hinging stern door, also houses a Kawasaki Jet Ski and a Sea Doo wave runner, as well as diving equipment. The diesel jet tender is launched from the centerline with a fully powered davit above.

One of the beauties of the Mangusta 165’ is the well-concealed fly bridge. While small enough to blend into the sporty profile, it is large enough to accommodate a dining area and lovely sunbathing space aft, plus a second control station, convenient for maneuvers and really thrilling at high speeds in open water, cruising up to 38 knots in optimal conditions!

THIS MANGUSTA owes her speed to triple 4,610hp MTUs (painted fire- engine red) coupled to two KaMeWa water jets and a KaMeWa booster jet.

Why would you go slow when you can go fast? With amazing spaces and speeds that can put you in the Bahamas in two hours from Miami, there is no comparable fast yacht on the market.
