Adjacent and to starboard are two, high-end, tan Ekornes “Stressless” chairs/ottomans. Fixed-mounted fans provide additional air circulation, if needed, on still evenings. Port and starboard cabinets provide additional storage. The salon is outfitted with a 42″ flat screen TV, a surround sound system and Direct TV/DVD entertainment. This entertainment system also controls speakers mounted in the cockpit, pilothouse and on the flybridge. Broadband internet and satellite TV capable, Cathexis permits real-world connectivity. The galley will remind you of home, complete with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, GE microwave/convection oven, gas cooktop, full-sized electric oven, double sink, pantry, plenty of cabinet space, granite countertops, custom backsplash and a beautiful slate-tile floor. Excellent for extended cruising and liveaboards.Step down from the galley into a laundry/utility room, complete with its full-sized washer and dryer, chest freezer, stainless steel countertop/work area and storage drawers/cabinets. The stairway has removable steps, allowing full access to the large starboard stabilizer space.

Aft of the laundry/utility room is the entrance to the engine room. With stand-up headroom, heavy duty stainless handrails and outboard mirrored stainless panels, underway engine checks are a dream. The twin, side-by-side Lugger engines are forward in this space, with the Northern Lights generator, 40 gallon water heater, dive compressor (with remote air intake) and full sized tool chest aft. The Arid bilge system dries the bilge, even while underway.

Continuing aft, you come to the lazarette (also accessible from the cockpit via an electronic lift system). This is a large space which houses the battery panel, inverter/chargers, ASEA power converter and HVAC; as well as easy access to aft mechanical equipment. The lazarette provides ample space for spare parts storage as well as four dive tanks/mounting brackets.

Forward of the galley is the master stateroom. To port is a custom, queen-sized bed, flanked by two bed-side tables/cabinets. Beneath the bed are drawers and a large storage area for additional spares. Forward in this space is a large mirror, a full-sized bank of drawers and two large hanging lockers. There are also two wall-mounted ventilation fans, as well as a fan providing outside-air circulation. These fans augment the ample natural air flow from the three port side portholes and the ceiling vent hatch. To starboard is a remote controlled 32″ flat screen TV and the master bath, complete with granite counter tops and a full sized shower and tub.

Forward of the master, also accessible via the forward PH stairs, is a beam-to-beam, below decks spare parts storage area and a large hanging locker. The VIP stateroom has a double berth, large lockers and drawers and two large ventilation hatches. To starboard is an office area, with a mounted, swinging chair, desk and drawers. Forward is a full bath with granite counters, tile backsplash, drawers, large storage cabinets and another ventilation hatch. Below deck is a full-headroom machinery and spare parts storage area.

One deck up from the salon is the high-tech pilothouse, complete with its extensive array of electronic systems and controls. The visibility from the oversized, high-back Stidd helm chair is fantastic. A notable and desirable feature of this PH is its custom, raised settee, which affords a commanding view of the seaway ahead. In addition to the screened doors and operable windows, two wall-mounted fans provide on-demand ventilation on windless days.

Aft of the PH, are a day-head, with granite countertops and a screened ventilation hatch, along with a captain’s cabin, complete with a double berth, shelves, drawers and a large locker. A wall-mounted fan adds ventilation to the large interior and exterior portholes.

Exterior spaces offer some excellent features. The cockpit has been redesigned to incorporate a spacious settee, with custom cushions and a fixed-mounted folding teak table. This converts the cockpit into a fantastic gathering place for entertaining, sundowners, or a quiet evening dinner with guests. The cockpit also has two reclining teak deck chairs that add to the enjoyment of this unique space. Two large storage lockers, a hot/cold outside shower and a large, motorized lazarette hatch complete this special space.

Aft of the cockpit is an oversized swim/dive platform, complete with a dive ladder and a full shore-power station. Below the swim platform is a custom-designed wave dampener that virtually eliminates the annoying wave ‘slam’ that can otherwise result from following seas or ill-timed boat traffic. Below the swim platform are three, blue-toned underwater lights that are very effective at lighting an evening swim area. or attracting small, curious fish.

The starboard side deck offers dock access and a protected walkway to the Portuguese bridge, a particularly well-protected area in front of the PH that effectively sheds even a rare blue-water visit. This area has two double door storage areas for power cords, mooring lines, hoses, plexi-glass storm windows, or most anything else that needs a home.

The foredeck is secured by robust stainless railings; and has an oversized windless and a 300 pound stainless anchor (for peace-of-mind if the unexpected squall hits your anchorage). Fitted to the railing are two, collapsible stainless fender storage brackets. There is also a full shore power station in the starboard foredeck bulkhead.

The tender deck is located two steps up from the port side-deck, and is also secured by oversized stainless railings. Outboard of these railings, on either side and aft, are fixed kayak/SUP brackets that securely retain your largest water toys. The tender deck itself is very large, thanks to the well thought-out design change that eliminated the steps from the cockpit. This affords the opportunity to carry an oversized tender (for visiting distant harbors), completely within the railings surrounding the tender deck. This 14 foot tender is launched by a hydraulic davit, that retreats to a position athwartships and aft of the tender. The tender deck also contains three custom fiberglass deck boxes, suitable for dry storage of such items as folding bikes, tender fuel, cleaning supplies, folding deck chairs, etc. Completing the tender deck equipment list is a hydrostatically launched, hard-cased life raft and a passarelle. A fresh-water hose fitting helps make clean-ups easy.

The flybridge has the very desirable hard-top upgrade. It is extensively equipped with navigation equipment, and outfitted with dual Stidd deck chairs, a starboard side settee and an forward-facing, full-sized settee and fiberglass table. Other features include a beam-to-beam, storage area under the helm console, a full-width storage area under both the large and small settees, a tall storage area in the stack, a gas grill, and a refrigerator. The FB also allows for access to the top of the hardtop, which contains four large solar panels and extensive electronic equipment.

The hull, which was freshly painted during the October 2017 annual haul-out, has several noteworthy features. In addition to the wave dampener, hydraulic bow/stern thrusters, hydraulic stabilizers and protected twin propellers and rudders, the keel configuration helps ensure reliable, straight-as-an-arrow tracking. The combination of keep design, twin engines and hydraulic thrusters helps make boat handling very precise. Cathexis requires no rudder assistance to confidently enter tight marinas, pull into narrow slips (even with only inches to spare on each side), turn on a dime in a thoroughfare, reliably back in a straight line, hold her along a dock during mooring, and depart from an along-side tie, between two other vessels, into the wind. You’ll never cruise a better designed, more easily handled couples trawler!

All in all, this is a very special yacht, proven through her world-wide cruising history. She is fully outfitted, and ready to safely and reliably afford her next owners a cruising lifetime of memorable experiences.

Viewing the Yacht from across the basin, you are tantalized by her classic lines, and beautiful flag blue hull. Such a classic yacht immediately beckons you to come aboard. Entering the cockpit you notice the teak decks, and the amount of open space that invites you for cocktails at sunset. The extended boat deck hard top provides protection from rain and sun in the cockpit. As you walk around the outside of the Yacht you notice the details: no window frames, built-in bow seating, high bulworks which provide safe walkways around the yacht. At the bow is an anchor windlass which controls two anchors with 150 feet of chain on the Danforth, and 300 feet of chain on the Bruce. There are port and starboard power cords, fresh and salt water hose bibs. TV and phone cable connections and the shore water pressure regulator are all located in the bow storage cabinets. Returning to the cockpit, you enter into the salon which is wide open and you can see from bow to stern. The beautiful teak interior, with splashes of color, soothes you into dreams of cruising for weeks or months on end. In the salon aft corner is the entrance to the crew quarters and the engine room. Looking forward and to port are two reclining chairs, a 50″ Samsung flat screen TV and the bar area. Scanning to starboard and forward you notice a settee with a folding table for enjoying your favorite beverage, or working on the computer, and looking aft you see a beautiful U-shaped settee and coffee table.

On the forward port side of the salon are the steps into the pilothouse and galley. There is an excellent galley set up with state of the art refrigeration and appliances, and a helm station that is designed like a piece of art, with a very comfortable dinette.

Heading down the curved stairway to the staterooms, your attention is focused on the quality of the wood, recessed hand rails, and the finish of the teak. Forward is the VIP stateroom with a queen size bed, in-suite head and shower.

Moving aft and to port is the guest stateroom, with an in-suite head and separate shower. Again the fit and finish is a work of art.

Exiting the guest stateroom and moving aft you enter the master stateroom. The stateroom is full width. The king size bed is for and aft on center line, and there are twin heads with a central shower, rows of drawers and many closets. It is such a large warm area it is hard to believe that this boat is only 70’ feet in length.
Flybridge
As you head up to the flybridge, either from the pilot house or by the cockpit stairway aft, you realize the size of this boat. Again, another area invites you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. There is seating for up to seven people, a refrigerator, icemaker, sink, and a grill, plus lots of storage.

Salon
When entering the salon from the cockpit your attention is captured by the vast amount of space in this area. As you look forward and to starboard, you notice a very comfortable settee and coffee table, and to port a 50-inch Samsung TV with new hydraulic lift upgrade, and the Bose home theater system with surround sound, neatly fitted between two comfortable chairs. Also to port is the granite wet bar, with a wine cooler, refrigerator, glass and liquor storage, new wine cooler Silhouette Select brand, and a sink. Just to starboard of the bar is a settee that looks aft and has a fold up table that functions as an office or a bar top. Above the settee and forward are a set of custom cabinets for your finest china and stem ware.
Galley
Up three steps from the salon is the galley, which is a state of the art gourmet kitchen. The very large granite countertop provides more space than will ever be needed to serve that special dinner. Custom solid wood cabinets and dovetailed drawers, both completely finished inside with Formica, provide large amounts of storage in the galley. For convenience and safety, just to port of the galley, is the stair up to the flybridge, the port pilothouse door, and the electrical panels located in the aft section of the pilothouse settee.

Pilothouse
The pilothouse and the galley are the heart of this boat. To port is a comfortable dinette with seating for up to five people. Forward is the helm station and to starboard is the stair down to the staterooms and the starboard pilothouse door. Underneath the helm station is a large area finished in Formica. There is enough room to allow the electronics technician easy access for installing equipment and making repairs if necessary. Both the 120 volt and 240 volt AC electrical system, 12 and 24 volt DC panels, the navigation and the commnications systems are located in this area. Above the helm station from port to starboard is the status panel for all systems. Starting on the port side of the panel are the 12 and 24 volt navigation and electronic circuit breakers, the tank tender, fire buoy system indicator, inverter controls, stabilizer controls, emergency panel warning lights, and all the pump and navigation lights switches.

Companionway
Moving forward and down from the pilothouse is the companionway to the three staterooms, which all have en-suite heads and showers. The maple woods with teak accent highlights makes these areas bright and airy.
VIP Stateroom
The VIP stateroom, located in the bow of the boat, has a Queen size island bed and cedar-lined hanging closets on both sides. Under the bed are six drawers that are finished with twelve coats of varnish and lined with Formica. Also under the bed are two Cablemasters for the forward power cords. The chain locker also resides in this area, as does the bow thruster. The en-suite head with separate stall shower is made of the finest materials, Grohe fixtures and granite sink tops, and a VacuFlush toilet.
15” Flat Panel TV
DVD Player

Guest Stateroom
The guest stateroom has upper and lower twin sized beds, and en-suite head with a separate shower. The 15-inch flat screen TV with built-in DVD player provides entertainment for your guests. A neat cedar-lined closet has room for hanging clothes and under the lower bed are drawers that provide more storage.

Master Stateroom
Two steps down and aft is the spacious master stateroom. The maple woods with teak accents makes this area feel much larger than its actual size. This is accomplished by the use of composite structure everywhere in the cabinets, closets, heads and the hull. Composites are thinner and stronger, i.e. take up less space. This stateroom is wow, huge, warm and comfortable. The king size bed is fore and aft on center line, cedar-lined closets and drawers are to starboard. Forward and to starboard a cabinet encloses the Bosch washer and dryer, and to port is a flat screen 26-inch TV and a DVD Player. On the port side is a settee with storage underneath, book shelves, and two cedar- lined closets. The heads are aft of the bed, one to port, the other to starboard with a central shower.
Engine Room and Crew Quarters
There are two entries to these areas. The salon entry is very easy to use; it allows you to access the engine room without going outside, a real safety feature when you are cruising in heavy weather. On nice days and to help in loading items into storage, there is a large aft hatch in the cockpit.

Engine Room
Entry to the engine room is from the crew quarters. The watertight door has a window that allows you to check the engine room before opening the door. Upon entering the engine room you immediately notice the head room of more than 6 feet. This is a white engine room, and it is spotless. Every piece of equipment is like new. The twin engines are soft mounted to reduce vibration, and coupled with the Aqua Drive system to reduce vibration. The sea chest forward and between the engines provides sea water for every piece of equipment that uses sea water.

Resin infusion is extensively used where appropriate. The Marlow Explorer exterior finish is among the finest on earth and will look like fine porcelain for years to come. Marlow yachts are designed and built to cross the oceans of the world in comfort and safety while the proprietary Strut Keel© technology allows inland and island cruising with fully protected running gear. Marlow Yachts are certified by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), Lloyds Register, and ISO 9001, a status enjoyed by less than a handful of pleasure powerboat manufacturers worldwide.

GENERAL

He was delivered in 2008, with a refit in 2014. Built with the utmost attention to detail for which the builder is renowned and meticulously maintained by an experienced owner and her professional crew, she is offered for sale in spotless condition.

He sleeps eight owners and guests in four ensuite staterooms. The double berth captain’s cabin is aft of the pilot house, and the crew cabin is aft of the engine room.

The yacht’s interior was originally designed by Dee Robinson Interiors, and features elegant American cherry woodwork with panels in eye catching book matched mahogany crotch, black absolute granite, custom color matched interior Dutch doors and window frames, and intricate stainless steel. In 2011 she received a $2 million reconfiguration with a fly bridge extension. The new arrangement included the interior sky lounge staircase being removed and an exterior aft staircase being added. The owner also added a waste treatment system and many redundant systems throughout.

Carefully cared for and under the direction of Destry Darr Designs, she was redecorated and refreshed in August 2014. This includes new carpet, new dining room chairs, new window treatments, all salon furniture recovered, new bed throws, new decorative pillows, new exterior chair cushions, new fly bridge sun pad cushions, new lampshades, refinished coffee tables and dining room table, recovered pilot house Stidd seat and back cushions and recovered sky lounge furnishings.

He has recently completed an extensive maintenance program which included the painting of the entire deckhouse and superstructure, servicing of the main engines, generators, air conditioning system and much more.

He represents a unique opportunity to own a spectacular yacht in perfect condition. She was designed and built to handle all oceans of the world from the tropics to high latitudes in comfort, style and safety. Her sumptuous interior and high volume offers the greatest luxury, and seems far more spacious than her overall length of 86’ would lead you to expect. She was built to ABS Class requirements, and has been maintained in class. She is commercially compliant, and can be offered for charter. Both rugged and refined, she must be inspected to fully appreciate all she has to offer. She will be the first choice for anyone looking for a model, easily maintained, and comprehensively equipped adventure yacht.

SALOON

Aft in the main deck superstructure, the main saloon has an appealing symmetry. Matching pair of blue-gray chenille upholstered settees are to port and starboard beneath the large windows. These face matching pen shell coffee tables, each flanked by matching taupe, geometric patterned upholstered arm chairs. This very convivial conversation space can seat ten people very comfortably.

A low cabinet forward conceals a flat panel television which rises at the touch of a button. This cabinet, with the service columns to each side, visually separates the saloon from the dining room. Below the nylon taupe carpet is a finished floor of teak and holly.

DINING

The dining table, set athwart ships at the yacht’s centerline, seats eight in new upholstered chairs and two carvers. A handsome butler’s counter is forward to port with custom cabinetry for all chinaware, two fridge drawers beneath a black absolute granite top, Icemaker, sink, wine cooler and a lighted crystal display cabinet above.

The galley, described in greater detail below, is forward to port. A very handsome half spiral staircase leads up to the pilothouse, and a day head is to starboard.

MASTER STATEROOM

Further forward and just a couple of steps down, the Master Stateroom spans the full beam of the yacht. A centerline king sized berth is against the aft bulkhead of this spectacular room. A television rises from the cabinet forward which is flanked by the doors to His and Hers bathrooms finished in white flecked marble, mahogany joinery work, and large stall showers (hers also being a steam shower), three closets, writing desk, built in book shelves and skylights.

CREW ACCOMMODATIONS

Captain’s Cabin:

Conveniently positioned just aft of the pilot house. A double berth is set outboard to port with a desk forward, and an ensuite bathroom with stall shower to starboard.

Crew Cabin:

Accessed via a staircase from the portside of the aft deck, the crew cabin is on the starboard side just aft of the engine room. The cabin has upper and lower single berths and an ensuite bathroom with stall shower.

Laundry:

Opposite the crew cabin with one new Electrolux washing machine and two Maytag Neptune dryers.

PILOTHOUSE

As expected, the pilothouse offers a commanding view, with all instruments properly laid out and described in greater detail below.

A raised C-shaped settee, aft on the centerline, faces a drop leaf table. A door to port leads to the captain’s cabin with double berth and ensuite bathroom. To starboard a corridor leads aft to the sky lounge passing fridge, Icemaker, sink and a lighted crystal display cabinet above.

SKY LOUNGE

Unlike her subsequent sisters and following its reconfiguration in 2011 VIVIERAE does not have a staircase to the fly bridge in this room. It consequently feels (and is) much more spacious with a charcoal chenille L-shaped settee to port providing a great spot to enjoy the scenery or watch a movie. A low cabinet aft conceals a flat panel television which rises at the touch of a button.

Within the cabinetry is custom wine storage, and a finished teak and holly floor is beneath the 100% wool carpet A foldable treadmill and selection of dumbbells quickly turns this area into a mini-gym.

GALLEY

On the main deck, forward and to port of the dining saloon, the galley has access to the port side deck in the conventional way. Finished in American cherry with grey granite counters and backsplash, this galley has everything a chef could want. Equipment includes:

Sub-Zero freezer and freezer

Sub-Zero refrigerator and refrigerator drawers

Bosch Dishwasher

Dacor Microwave oven (new)

Wolf Oven

Wolf Stove top (new)

Stainless steel sink with disposal

Breville Toaster

Monogram trash compactor

DECK & HULL

He is an “aft house” trawler with the superstructure set well back on the hull to provide the most comfortable ride in a pitching sea. This configuration provides ample space for large tenders in the well deck aft of the high bow, and forward of the Portuguese bridge.

There are side decks on both sides of the main deck and on the pilothouse deck, and a generous aft deck-cockpit with access to the integral swim platform. A straight bench settee with Sunbrella cushions across the transom facing a convertible dining table and four teak deck chairs for al fresco dining. All tables and chairs are quick release to make room for the Stidd fighting chair whilst game fishing.

Aft of the sky lounge the deck is sheltered by the overhang from the flybridge above. This overhang is a custom construction that is not shared by other Nordhavn 86’s. A stairway comes up from the cockpit below on the port side, and a similar and custom stairway on the starboard side leads up the flybridge.

FLYBRIDGE

This is very much an “owner & guest” area, since there is no command station. A hardtop stretches from the ventilation stacks forward shading the area, and there are tracks and removable Isinglass screens to enclose the space when the weather warrants. A C-shaped settee and table is forward to port. A large and useful barbeque grill, drinks fridge and 52” television finish the deck off for any type of entertaining.

Aft, only partially covered by the hard top, is a Jacuzzi with the panoramic view surrounded with a sumptuous new sunpad.

UNDERWATER CONFIGURATION

He has a bulbous bow for optimal fuel efficiency (the bow thruster is contained in this bulb), a full keel ending a few meters short of the stern, twin skegs enclosing the shafts with the rudders supported aft leaving the propellers protected within apertures, and a swim platform aft which is integral to the hull, and contains an inverted broad U-shaped tunnel with the stern thruster.

Stabilizers are just aft of amidships each side, and are fitted with kelp cutters.

The superstructure is in Alexseal Snow White, painted in August 2014.

ELECTRONICS & NAVIGATION

Navigation Electronics:

The AC electrical system is three phase 120/208 volt distribution with a maximum capacity of 60kW provided by two Northern Light generators (40kW and 25kW) which can be synched together (splitting the buss bars as oppose to paralleling), or through a 100 amp shore power connection (fed by a Glendenning Cable Master) through an Atlas shore power converter, allowing the yacht to be powered in any country in the world. The Atlas Shore Power Convertor has seamless transfer capability allowing the yacht to be unaffected when switching between power supplies.

The DC electrical systems is 24 volts with a capacity of 765 amp hours provided by six 8D Lifeline batteries connected in series/parallel charged by an Outback inverter/charger at 70 amps.

CONSTRUCTION

He is built in fiberglass to very heavy scantlings from female molds using an outer layer of gelcoat (although all finish surfaces are subsequently painted in Alexseal) and 2mm of Coremat to prevent “print through” before the first series of lamination of woven roving is applied. Vinylester resin is used in the first three layers below the waterline, and the entire underwater structure is coasted in five coats of epoxy resin before antifouling paint is applied.

Built to ABS Class requirements and has been maintained in class.

Longitudinal stringers (10 each side) are used full length for added rigidity, and there are five watertight bulkheads.

The superstructure cabin sides incorporate Klegecell foam coring, and all deck structures use Baltec vertical end grain balsa coring to keep the center of gravity as low as possible. Further, 30,000 lbs. of lead ballast is built into the keel structure, and an additional 4,000 lbs. is used in trim.

Fuel storage tanks and water tanks are also built in fiberglass with inspection hatches and removable baffles for full access if needed.

Teak decking, glued, not screwed, sheaths the main deck, the pilothouse deck, and the flybridge.

All machinery spaces are lined with Soundown lead foam insulation and 3M Thinsulate to prevent noise propagation.

Overview
GALLANT LADY is the eighth Feadship built for her owner. Being the first Feadship launched under the Royal DeVries designation as well as the first Feadship built with an interior utilizing lightweight aircraft technology to ensure her shallow draft, this yacht represents aesthetic and technical achievements second to none. GALLANT LADY is an eco-friendly yacht incorporating advanced innovations including the environmentally safe Rochem bio-reactive waste sewage treatment plant. Her owner is a founding member of the Seakeeper’s Society and the GALLANT LADY was built to reflect their longstanding commitment to the ocean environment.

Designed by her owner, the GALLANT LADY’s signature vertical windows, stacked decks and raked bow are accented with the debut of a three dimensional wave-like scrollwork and “F” signature on the bow. A recurring “X” theme can be found throughout the yacht and appears in design details as fine as the air conditioning vents or as grand as her polished stainless steel pillars.

Unique to a yacht of her size and quality, the shallow draft greatly increases her cruising capabilities.

The rich interior influenced by Eighteenth and Nineteenth century French and Italian antiques showcases beautiful woods ranging from black walnut, sycamore, eucalyptus and myrtle burl. Stunning glasswork artfully combined with seventeen granites and marbles create the feel of romantic elegance. Custom-made Edward Fields carpets and silk panels accentuate luxurious textures throughout the yacht.

Accommodations
The GALLANT LADY accommodates ten guests in five staterooms.

Main Deck
The MAIN SALON defines classic elegance. A palette of black walnut, myrtle burl and eucalyptus complement rich fabrics and classic-styled furniture. The two handmade Italian coffee tables took more than four months to complete and each of these one-of-a-kind pieces contain many of the seventeen precious stones utilized throughout the yacht. Day or night the eight large windows create a spacious ambiance.

Moving forward to the MAIN FOYER there is a spectacular four-person circular elevator comprised of a monolithic pane of glass framed in polished stainless. Beautiful marble inlays custom cut in Holland were used to create a Koi pond motif on the elevator floor. The elevator itself required more than a year to complete.

Starboard of the elevator is a dramatic floating-spiral staircase spanning two decks and taking full advantage of the GALLANT LADY’s vertical windows.

Forward of the elevator are two identical DAYHEADS featuring Blue Siena and Rosso Verona marbles accented with beautiful silk panels.

Continuing forward, seven raised steps lead to a DINING SALON offering spectacular panoramic views. An opulent round myrtle burl table easily extends to accommodate up to fourteen guests. Azul Aran granite window sills complement myrtle burl and black walnut cabinetry. Custom built floor-to-ceiling cabinets conceal a full complement of Pickard china, Waterford crystal and Christofle cutlery. A custom made and beautifully inlayed Edward Fields carpet adorns the floor.

Of special interest beneath the Dining Salon is one of Feadship’s most significant technological achievements. Concealed therein is a state-of-the-art ducted air conditioning system once reserved for the abundant space of deep full-displacement hull. A massive central air conditioning plant remains hidden under the semi-raised floor with large ducts incorporated into the ship’s structure. While previous designs would incorporate chilled-water air handlers in perimeter cabinetry, this innovative design permits the induction of cooled air through a decorative grill spanning the entire length of wall with warm-air returns discreetly concealed in the Dining Salon’s tray ceiling. This breakthrough design permitted window lines to be lowered significantly with an equally dramatic increase in spaciousness and view.

The GALLEY is conveniently located aft of the Dining Salon. Along with the spacious DINING SALON PANTRY and MAIN SALON PANTRY, these areas provide a streamlined approach for service to guests in either the Dining Salon or aft Main Salon. There are professional quality refrigerators and freezers, ample prep areas, and storage for crew to have a proper work environment. The pantries have granite and marbles throughout, along with beautiful woodwork creating a feeling of elegance.

The AFT MAIN DECK serves as the GALLANT LADY’s primary al fresco dining area with comfortable table seating for ten guests. A settee, small table and two chairs provide additional seating. Staircases on port and starboard provide direct access to the RECREATION PLATFORM and Lazarette.

OWNER’s DECK (second deck amidship aft): For the utmost in privacy, the OWNER’s FOYER has two sets of double doors.

The full-beam OWNER’s STATEROOM is bright, radiant and the epitome of luxurious comfort. Fluted columns and curvaceous floor-to-ceiling doors generate a classic ambiance with giant windows bathing a king-size bed in natural light. The Owner’s Stateroom is a spectacular private space.

The massive interior volume of GALLANT LADY is showcased in the OWNER’s BATHROOM area. These 125 square meters (408 square feet) of space are dedicated to his and her toilets, bidets, dressing areas and wardrobes. A walk-in shower and solarium with pantry complete the space. Designed to create a warm and mellow ambiance, Sunshine marble with accents and inlays of Afyon and Blue Siena are used. The etched shower doors and walls have an “Orioles in Oleander” theme which was custom designed for the area. Variable controls allow the illumination of glass art to be adjusted for color and brightness.

An even finer vista is provided from the Owner’s private shaded AFT DECK area, which incorporates a spa pool and dining area.

Instead of the wheelhouse above the Dining Salon, GALLANT LADY has an intriguing CLUB LOUNGE forward, which together with the Owner’s Stateroom aft creates a true OWNER’s DECK. Large windows, a high-back blue leather settee and a gentleman’s bar provide an ideal retreat to relax and admire the view. A central table with concealed television transforms the area into a perfect retreat for breakfast or a game of chess.

The OWNER’s DECK PANTRY and CAPTAIN’s CABIN are just portside and aft of the Club Lounge area. The Captain’s Cabin and bathroom are fitted with White Calcutta marble with Verde Giada accents. The cabin includes a desk, ensuite shower, remote engine room alarm panel and B & G HS-2000 weather monitoring system.

Bridge Deck
With an elevated settee, the Wheelhouse is spacious enough to accommodate guests observing the running of the yacht. The bridge includes two Recaro Captain’s chairs and a world class complement of navigational and electronic equipment.

Aft is the SHIP’s OFFICE containing ample work space.

The SUN DECK holds a 20’ Nautica tender as well as cantilevered wing platforms to port and starboard. This deck area also doubles as a spacious guest area for sunbathing or viewing the stars.

Flybridge/Crow’s Nest
Located atop the Wheelhouse, this semi-enclosed flybridge has an ingenious window arrangement which can be adapted to any wind condition. There is port and starboard access to spacious observation wings which can be utilized by the Captain for enhanced visibility while maneuvering.

Lower Deck
Guests are treated royally onboard GALLANT LADY, with a fabulous GUEST FOYER on the lower deck opening into the four spacious GUEST STATEROOMS. Her two queen and two twin guest staterooms are appointed with rich fabrics, handsome cabinetry crafted with three exotic woods and beautiful Giallo Reale, Emparador and White Callacatta marbles. Entertainment electronics are artfully concealed, and the bathrooms are of unprecedented size for any yacht. The bathrooms include custom-etched glasswork shower doors in “Humming Birds in Tulip Tree” and “Macaws & Shefelera” designs.

In addition to the Captain’s Cabin aft of the Club Lounge, there is berthing for ten crew members in five twin CREW CABINS forward of the engine room. Each cabin is outfitted with a full head, shower, sycamore cabinetry, light green Corian countertops and individual drop-down DVD players with headsets for each bunk. The area contains a spacious CREW LOUNGE with L-shaped settee.

The LAUNDRY area is well designed with two sets of washers and dryers and ample counter workspace.

The technically advanced ENGINE ROOM is located at the center of the lower deck. This well- designed multi-level space is exceptionally well-lit, fully air conditioned and visible to the air conditioned CONTROL ROOM which is adjacent starboard and forward.
