This is an incredible 2006 Hatteras 80 Motor Yacht that underwent a million dollar refit in 2015. Featuring four staterooms with en suite heads & two day heads (main level & flybridge). There are two staterooms for the crew that can accommodate four crew members. The enclosed flybridge, large salon/dining area, and ample galley provides outstanding living space. She also has twin CAT C-30 1550Hp engines. Continuing forward is the formal dining area with a table and seating for eight. Across on the port side is a chef’s dream galley with new kitchen appliances. At the bow of the main deck is the dinette area featuring two seating areas each with it’s own table and bench seating with storage. This area was recently modified with the removal of the lower station, four Sub Zero refrigerators, and storage was added.

The lower companionway houses a stackable washer and dyer. The full beam master stateroom features a king sized berth with two nightstands, dressers on port and starboard sides, and three closets with one as a walk-in to port. The master head has upgraded mirrors and enclosed glass door shower. The VIP stateroom houses a queen sized berth and cedar lined hanging lockers on port and starboard side. The VIP head encompasses a private entry, granite counter tops, and enclosed shower. The port guestroom has a full sized berth with two nightstands. The room features chest of drawers and ample storage along with it’s own private head. The starboard stateroom has upper and lower bunks with storage underneath. This room was originally set up as an office and can easily be converted back. The head also has granite counter tops, cabinet vanity, and enclosed shower. All staterooms have new flat screen TV’s with Direct TV receiver, and Blu-Ray players.

The custom designed enclosed flybridge offers plenty of entertaining space. The flybridge aft deck has a chrome pedestal table with L-shaped seating and two teak chairs. To the starboard side is the davit. Additionally there is a custom cabinet with a Fire Magic Grill. Moving forward into the enclosed area is U-shaped sofa to the port side. To starboard is a day head, a pop up new TV, and cabinet. Towards the bow area are the dual Stidd helm chairs. The helm electronics were upgraded during the refit with new Garmin electronics.

Exterior Details
Resin-Infused Hull. The 72 features a fully resin-infused hull, rather than one constructed from layers of hand-laid fiberglass. Resin-infusion technology — the process of impregnating fiberglass with resin instead of spraying or rolling it on — produces a more uniform hull thickness and results in the most ideal glass-to-resin ratio. This creates a hull that is stiffer (because there are no voids in the fiberglass) and weighs significantly less (because of the lowered resin content). At the same time, resin infusion allows for a more precise fit of bulkheads, stringers, and other components for increased strength and durability.

Full-Featured Flybridge. The 174-square-foot flybridge, accessed from either the aft deck or the galley, features a centerline helm served by two adjustable Pompanette chairs. (For those who want more seating forward, a third chair fits nicely as an option.) The standard electronics suite includes a GPS/chartplotter, VHF radio, autopilot, and depth and temperature indicator — all the necessary navigation aids. A bar with three stools, a refrigerator, and an icemaker abaft the helm creates a casual entertainment area, and an optional electric grill is available in the starboard cabinet. Molded fiberglass seating farther aft allows for easy conversation and includes cavernous storage beneath. The standard open bridge features an arch for mounting antennas and radar. Owners can elect to add a fully integrated hardtop, along with curtains and air conditioning.

Al fresco Aft Deck. A large aft deck with molded seats and a wood table make an ideal location to relax or enjoy an al fresco meal. This area also allows easy access to the large “sport deck” swim platform and the high-flying bridge deck above.

Quality Deck Details. To port and starboard, 12-inch side decks lead safely forward, making the 72 easier to handle by an owner-operator. Cleats are recessed into the bulwark for a clean exterior profile. Forward, a large sun pad that converts into a seat is molded into the main deck. And thanks to a windlass that is recessed into a well that drains overboard, the foredeck will stay clean throughout the day.

This is a 2016 Hatteras 60′ Motor Yacht that is powered by an upgraded Twin CAT C-18 1135Hp engines and an Onan 21Kw generator. She’s been upgraded with dual Gyro SeaKeeper stabilizers, a yacht controller, bow thruster, and meticulously maintained. There are three custom decorated staterooms along with two heads. The VIP stateroom located in the bow has an upgraded HMC level 4 Queen sized bed with custom bunk covers along with storage underneath. Additionally, there is private access to the guest head with upgraded wood flooring and a stone counter top.

Stepping up to the flybridge the L-shaped lounge is to port. There is plenty of room for friends and guests with storage underneath along with two teak tables for beverages and snacks. To starboard is the helm with dual helm chairs. The flybridge has Seacrylic curtain enclosure with air conditioning. Moving towards the stern, the sun deck has two Sundeck folding adjustable recliners with folding ottomans and folding side tables for plenty of relaxation.

A three-panel glass door framed in stainless steel slides opens to allow entrance to the 60’s airy salon (the panels stack to port and create an extra large, patio-like portal to the aft deck). Like all Hatteras models, the 60 is founded on a solid fiberglass bottom that includes sturdy support in key areas like the hull tunnel, shaft log, and strut locations. Divinycell coring is infused into the hull sides, decks, and superstructure to add stiffness and reduce weight. The hull also benefits from an advanced variable-deadrise design that utilizes large propeller tunnels to reduce draft and increase efficiency.

Additional Description
Down from the flybridge, the 135-square-foot aft deck is bigger than those found on many larger motor yachts. A molded, curved settee runs the length of the transom and provides quick access to the swim platform from either side. A second aft deck design eliminates the standard aft bulkhead and instead uses stainless-steel railings and tempered, laminated glass to encase the deck. This arrangement provides more usable space and allows for the installation of an optional passerelle and davit to facilitate Mediterranean-style mooring and dinghy storage on the swim platform.
Side decks measuring almost 13 inches across make working the lines easy and safe on the 60. These side decks also provide access to a storage locker on the port side and lead all the way forward to a molded bench seat on the bow deck.

Upon entering the vessel from the boarding gate(s) via the forward deck, you enter the main salon and are immediately greeted by dark wood, rich fabrics and quality stonework. Fly Bridge
The 72′ Hatteras M/Y features a generous fly bridge with an integrated hardrop and a 3-panel glass windshield. There is a removable EZ2CY and traditional Strata-Glass 3-sided enclosure with aft curtain for foul weather. The space is air conditioned for comfortable cruising during the summer months, as well. Aft of the enclosure is the boat deck complete with 1500lb davit and chocks. To port and starboard on the tender decks are wind stations outboard. Also to starboard on this deck are dual stainless steel Miele BBQ grills in a hideaway molded cabinet. Proceeding forward from the boat deck, the covered fly bridge has full carpeting, which is also removable. To starboard, there is a large upholstered wrap around seating area with two small pedestal tables, both topped in dark wood. To port, there is a smaller seating area which is just aft of the flybridge wetbar. The bar top is dark wood and the area is complete with 3 built-in upholstered pedestal bar stools, a refrigerator, sink, icemaker and storage.

Forward of the main salon is the country galley. All wood treatments are satin finished African Mahogany. Two steps lead up from the salon to the galley. Upon entering the appliances and island counter top are to port and the side by side Sub-Zero refrigerator is to starboard. Hull/Deck
The hull above the waterline was finished in spray urethane paint (Alexseal Paint) with highlight striping. The deck and cabin superstructure are of fiberglass construction, also sprayed with Alexseal Paint and sprayed nonskid on the decks. The 72′ MY also features full walkaround decks from the aft deck area all the way forward. There are several polished stainless steel “hoop-style” rails around the entire walkaround. The aft deck area is teak soled and there is a molded stairwell to the fly bridge in the port corner of the aft deck. The steps are also finished in teak sole. There is also a forward facing built in seating area with a varnished wood pedestal table on the aft deck for outdoor dining. The seating area is upholstered and has a full cover for protection.
