Voici le magnifique Azimut 62 Fly. Ce fut la dernière année en 2011 que le succès incontesté l’Azimut 62 Fly fut produit par le chantier Italien Azimut. C’est le propriétaire original qui vend le yacht.

WALK THROUGH
As you approach, the first thing that you ask yourself, is this a 2011?

She shows like new, the owner has meticulously kept the exterior and interior alike.

The 62’ Evolution has a distinct omnipotent feel with the elegant distinguishing large windows the entrances onto the boat are either through custom side doors to the aft deck or by a stair case from the swim platform. There is a large crew door entrance hinged from the bottom for safety the crew quarters are remarkably spacious for a 62’. Incorporating single bed, hanging locker, TV and stall shower quite comfortable for a crew of one.

The aft deck is expansive with glass teak table with seating for eight. The walk-around side decks to the bow have high stainless railings for safety.

A large sun pad is positioned on the bow.

Entering into the cabin through a large set of curved glass doors that enhances the whole aft deck. It should be noted that the current owner is very entertainment focused as far as audio visual goes, custom acrylic pull-out bar, cigar sand tread traction, felt-lined champagne glass system. Throughout the boat state of the art entertainment equipment including exterior. The ceilings are high, the flooring is custom teak and holly floor, seats are covered in soft Italian leather to the port, opposite is the high low TV and entertaining system. All of the joinery is finished in satin giving a very modern feel. The dinette is to starboard with two custom tables for more comfortable eating

Stepping down is the full size, functional galley with the ability to prepare a meal for 12 people easily. The refrigerator is full size up right with customized storage for all the flatware and dishes.

Coming out of the galley to the starboard is the helm position centered in the middle of the Pilot House to the port and starboard there is a chart reading area to the port and easy to view array of instrumentation which are exceptionally well laid down with comfortable captain’s driving chair covered in supple leather and custom steering wheel. When driving this Azimut 62, the performance is like driving a responsive sports car.

Moving down below deck all the way aft there is a full beam master with very large windows, comfortable with hydraulic bed lift, walk-in closet with hidden safe. The large bathroom features top of the line TECMA head system. For the size of the cabin you would feel that you are in a much larger yacht. More surprising, moving forward to the VIP is the volume of the cabin which is exceptionally large. This is the only vessel to have a walk-in closet and hanging locker.

Moving out of that cabin to the starboard guest cabin with twin side by side beds. The access to the bathroom which is across the companionway on the port side.

Access to the flybridge is through the starboard side by an easy to climb molded staircase, the flybridge is very well laid down with a low profile crane and dinghy mounted to the aft, a huge sun pad area with retractable back rest for reading. This area can accommodate all of your friends and family. Forward is the upper helm positioned but to the port side with a duplicate set of instrumentation as below.

Our main objective has been to improve the use of space, while providing the Lagoon 52 F with sober, bright and comfortable living spaces, to give her the same touch of luxury as other new Lagoons, and to provide the “just like home” feeling for the guests on board. The use of continuous horizontal lines without interruption gives the interior more fluent and harmonious open spaces. And as always, the main emphasis is on creating continuity between exterior and interior life, the view of the surrounding environment and the natural light flooding in. The choice of materials has been very important for enhancing the beauty and luxury of the interiors requested by Lagoon. More fabrics in all the cabins, and generally more wood and more leather, give rooms a warmer and luxurious imprint. Finally, great care was devoted to lighting, with a study on direct and indirect illumination in every room, giving a warmer and cozier atmosphere to the whole interior.
The collaboration, one might say complicity, between Nauta Design and Lagoon, can mainly be seen in the association of geometric forms with luxurious, “warm” materials, while optimizing the use of space in the saloon and the cabins.
The saloon encompasses the lounge and dining table to starboard, a large galley to port which gives on directly to the cockpit to form a large ‘L’, together with the chart table in the middle, facing out to sea.
No matter which interior layout you choose, all the cabins have large double beds,
storage space in keeping with the offshore sailing programming of the boat and, of course, an en-suite bathroom with separate shower.
Light and airy: the cabins have incomparable natural lighting thanks to the fixed hull windows, together with excellent ventilation thanks to the deck hatches and portholes that open out to the hull-side or to the cockpit.

The decision to locate the mast further to aft directly comes from the designers’ racing experience and has many advantages:
Centering the mast in this way creates a large forward triangle (a promise for great performance), whilst affording all the simplicity of a self-tacking jib.
The large forward triangle also means it is possible to use a respectably-sized Code 0 for light wind conditions.
A “VMG” option allows you to “divide” headsail surface areas with a moveable self-tacking staysail and an overlapping genoa.
The shorter boom makes the mainsail much easier to maneuver.
The mainsail, which is relatively narrower and higher, benefits from better winds at the top, thus enhancing performance: extending the sail centre really improves performance.
The forestay and shrouds are at much wider angles to the mast, thereby substantially reducing compression: this choice allows you to reduce sample weight, thus increasing stability and speed. By re-centering the weight in this way, pitching is considerably reduced.
